Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect only what we need to run Klikki, we never sell your data, it stays in the EU, and you stay in control. The details are below.
01Who we are
Klikki is a digital magazine platform operated by Keyp (Faroe Islands). For the personal data described in this policy, Keyp is the data controller. You can reach us at privacy@klikki.io.
If you publish a magazine with Klikki, you are the controller of any personal data you place in it — we process it on your behalf as your processor.
02What data we collect
- Account data — your name, email address, phone number and company details when you sign up.
- Content — the magazines, products, images and videos you create or import into Klikki.
- Usage data — how you use the editor and how visitors interact with published magazines (page views, product clicks), collected in aggregate.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and device information in server logs, kept for security and troubleshooting.
03Why we process it — and on what legal basis
- To provide the service (create, host and share your magazines) — performance of our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To show you analytics about your magazines — performance of our contract.
- To secure, debug and improve Klikki — our legitimate interest in running a safe, reliable service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To send you product news or marketing — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
04Where your data lives
Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) infrastructure in the EU. We use a small number of service providers (processors) to run Klikki; each is bound by a data processing agreement and processes data only on our instructions.
If a transfer outside the EU/EEA is ever required, we rely on an adequacy decision or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
05How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and content within 90 days, except where the law requires us to keep records (e.g. invoices for accounting) or where data has been irreversibly anonymised.
06Your rights
Under the GDPR you can, at any time and free of charge:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Restrict or object to our processing.
- Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@klikki.io — we respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the Faroe Islands: Dátueftirlitið).
07Cookies
We use essential cookies that are required for the site to work (e.g. keeping you logged in). Optional analytics cookies are only set with your consent, which you can change or withdraw at any time via the cookie settings.
08Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
